![]() The print screen button takes a picture of what is on your screen. All you have to do is find the button on your keyboard and press it. You can then paste the screen capture into a document, email message, or other file. The picture can be cropped, re-sized, and altered just like other digital pictures. You also have the option to take a picture of just the active window by holding down ALT+ PRINT SCREEN. Note: the Print Screen button may look slightly different on different keyboards. Mac Users You unfortunately do not have a "Print screen" button. Below are a combination of keys you can use to take screen shots.
